How to Get through Finals Week
It's that time of year again; you get barely any sleep, your social life consists of the occasional "Hey, what's up?" in the library, and you feel like you are being buried alive at times. Yes, I am talking about the dreaded finals week that is coming up. If only Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide gave us tips on how to make it out of finals week alive (am I right?) My tips on how to ace your finals with as little stress as possible consists of the following: exercise regularly, get to sleep before 11 each night, give yourself a little "me time" once in a while, and, above all, don't beat yourself up if you don't get the grade you were shooting for, it isn't the end of the world. With that being said, good luck!

Why Slippery Rock is Home Away From Home
People always ask me why I chose Slippery Rock, and my answer is always the same---the people. Every day walking to class, it is inevitable that someone will pass me or see me and say hello. Coming from a school of only about 850, I was used to seeing everybody I knew in the hallways walking to class, and Slippery Rock perfectly fits the build of a friendly, community-centered educational establishment. Additionally, the professors are just as welcoming; each day I walk into class, the first thing my professor does is make small talk with students or even joke around. If anyone is out there searching for a school with family values, welcoming faculty, and a friendly, inclusive student body, Slippery Rock is the school for you.
